Who? Sarah is the owner of Calico + Ivy, an independent home to the most amazing collection
of wools and fabrics (as well as other inspiring treasures) she sources from around the world.
What inspires you? We all begin from different places when we begin the creative process. Whimsical imaginings such as the evocations above generally get my creative juices flowing.
I was born a dreamer. Spending time browsing through the multitude of colours, patterns and ideas within Calico and Ivy’s fabric and yarn selections is another sure trigger for an exciting creative exploration.
Why? I hope our stores will give you a small insight into the world of Calico and Ivy, from all our beautiful quilting fabrics through to knitting yarns and special gift lines, all hand selected to make your heart sing. If you can’t visit our Perth or Balmain stores personally we happily send throughout the world. The girls and I work unitedly to present a warm, soulful environment filled with exciting ideas and – hopefully – triggers for your creative fires.

What? Maintaining the integrity of her personal vision, Ms. De Clario collaborated harmoniously with the beaders and pattern makers in her pursuit of excellence, resulting in this exquisite collection of flapper dresses.
Basing her designs on the traditional silhouette of the Chicago 1920′s flapper dresses, these beaded and sometimes fringed and tassled designs are reflective of the charleston era: classy, feminine and flirty.
